In 2026, Atelier Pierre Culot reunites with Mon Colonel & Spit for a new collaboration, continuing a creative dialogue that began in 2019, when Joseph Culot invited the Liège-based duo for a residency at the workshop.

Their first collaboration focused on Pierre Culot’s iconic “Citroën” vase, which became a canvas for the duo’s colorful and fantastical universe.

For this new chapter, Atelier Pierre Culot invited Mon Colonel & Spit to work around the lamp, another recurring form in Pierre Culot’s work. The ceramic bases, made at the Atelier, become the starting point for a series of hand-painted interventions by Éric Colonel and Thomas Spit.

The collaboration brings together two distinct languages: the architectural and sculptural approach to ceramics developed by Pierre Culot, and the expressive, figurative world of Mon Colonel & Spit. Through this encounter, familiar forms from the Atelier are reinterpreted, giving rise to a limited series of unique lamps at the intersection of ceramics, painting and light.
