The house & the garden

The family home of Pierre Culot is more than a residence, it is the place where he lived, raised his family, and gave full expression to his creativity. His passion for pottery led him to design and build a remarkable studio directly connected to the house. This studio, both functional and poetic, became the beating heart of his work, where clay, fire, and form shaped his artistic journey. Today, it welcomes artists in residence, offering them the rare opportunity to live and create within the very spaces that nurtured Culot’s vision.

The garden, the final place arranged by Pierre, serves as a natural extension of the house and the atelier. Quiet and contemplative, it reflects the growing importance of sculpture in his practice. Large works, placed with care, rise in dialogue with the landscape, transforming the garden into an open-air gallery. To walk there is to experience the essence of Culot’s universe: the seamless union of art, craft, and nature. Together, the house, the studio, and the garden form a living testimony to his legacy—spaces that continue to inspire, welcome, and reveal the depth of his artistic spirit.
